Giveaway: Win 2 Tickets to the US Air Force Reserve Band Concert
Bite of Your Life would like to give you the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing Saturday afternoon with the US Air Force Band!
The 43-piece concert band is the largest unit of the Band of the United States Air Force Reserve, with a varied repertoire that ranges from classical overtures and Sousa marches to Broadway show tunes, popular music, movie themes, and patriotic favorites. The concert band has performed at various locations throughout the United States and the world. The band has toured Russia twice, making historic appearances in Moscow (1992) and St. Petersburg (1995). With the Southeastern United States as its primary touring area, the concert band frequently performs for packed houses in Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.
This Saturday they will be performing in Tallahassee and here's your chance to win a ticket for you and a friend (or honey bunny).

New Year = A New Sign!!

Local Business Saturday
Tallahassee Mayor John Marks along with the City of Tallahassee, Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, Tallahassee Economic Development Council, Capital City Chamber of Commerce and local businesses announced that every second Saturday of the month in 2011 will be designated as a Local Business Saturday. This collaborative effort will include a targeted marketing campaign encouraging consumers to shop at locally-owned and locally-operated businesses for cost-saving deals beginning this Saturday, Jan. 15 and every second Saturday in 2011.
Many businesses, including Bite of Your Life, have signed up to participate and some have already posted discounts on the 'Local Business Saturday' Facebook page.
Bite of Your Life will be open from 12:00pm - 5:00pm tomorrow in honor of the festivities. We'll be giving away NOT ONLY a FREE Hot Beverage with the purchase of 2 cupcakes, but also a FREE Cupcake Lollipop with the purchase of 4 cupcakes! Gotta love that sweet deal, right?!?

Happy Birthday DJ Demp!
We here at Bite of Your Life would like to send a very special Happy Birthday shout out to DJ Demp! We are honored to be working on quite a few projects for his weeklong celebration here in Tallahassee.
It all began with an order for 75 red velvet mini cupcakes with cream cheese icing and edible silver dust. Needless to say we were very excited about this opportunity to show #TEAMDEMP just what we’re made of, sugar and spice and everything nice, of course :-).
Things became a little hectic when we had to rush out and purchase more mini cupcake wrappers. And even more crazy when we ran out of red food coloring but we hit our deadline and I must say I’m very happy with the results!
Next up, we have DJ Demp’s official birthday cake. I can’t wait to tell you what we have planned for him, but for now it’s a secret!! :-)
